I have been drawing for as long as I can remember! My love for lines lead me to Sheridan College where I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Illustration in 2008.
My love of type lead me to a design career in downtown Toronto shortly after graduation. From my earliest days in print to the ever-expanding digital landscape, I continue to master it all.
I have helped clients bring their vision to life through digital and print mediums. From logo design and print advertising to full-scale digital campaigns, I have covered a ton of real estate throughout my career.
As a devote music lover, my shameless tastes vary from metal to heavy metal.
The guitar will forever be my one true love! Like my professional career, I enjoy a new challenge everyday.
To stay in somewhat reasonable top-form in my spare time, I enjoy lifting heavy objects at my local gym.
My nocturnal lifestyle has benefited clients for years but Sundays 1-4pm, from September to February, I will not be checking my emails.
With a background in applied arts, I was called upon to be the resident in-house illustrator at Salt & Pepper in 2008. As the business began to bloom, so did my role. My love for typography allowed me to easily transition into a strong print designer and as the marketing landscape changed, so did my love for all things digital. I developed a strong understanding designing for social media campaigns, Facebook apps, responsive design and UX.
In the following years, I became an important asset within the boutique agency. As a strong conceptual thinker, my skills are often utilized for pitching and presenting ideas to new and existing clients. I have also been given the opportunity to further develop my management skills by mentoring new team members and being part of the hiring process.
